Responsible to ensure the security & safety of all service centers, main switching centers, sites, company properties and staffs of Sabah Region against sabotage, burglary, theft, robbery, arson and other criminal acts. This role is also to ensure appropriate & sufficient security coverage in order to avoid losses to company properties while ensuring a safe working environment within the values and vision of Digi.

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Your Responsibilities:

• To administer and ensure all contracted security guards, Cash-In-Transit & Vaulting services at all company premises are well performed
• To implement and manage all physical security preventive measures including that of traffic control and the security vetting of persons and vehicles having access into all company premises (wherever applicable) within the region
• To ensure the proper functioning of all security alarm devices, access control and CCTV surveillance systems and to take appropriate action to ensure that they are serviceable at all times
• Maintain Digi security mechanisms according to internal and ISO standards
• To ensure security regulations and procedures are adhered to at all times. Security programs, emergency response and evacuation processes and procedure are carried out in accordance to Malaysian Law and internal requirements
• Carry out audits to ensure workplace operation compliance to security requirements
• Ensure all access records are up to date as per HR database
• Ensure all access provisioning to manage in accordance to company policies, manuals and procedures
• Ensure all physical security infrastructure are functional and operating around the clock or as per requirements
• Maintain Digi ISO14001 /ISO 45001 Management system
• To ensure health, security, safety & environment regulations and procedures are adhere at all times. Safety programs, emergency response and evacuation processes and procedure are carried out in order to make company a safe working environment
• To maintain close liaison with other departments, external agencies and local authorities to ensure the security & safety of the company and all staffs
• Carry out workplace inspection to ensure workplace operation compliance to HSSE requirements
• Accident / incident investigation for security and safety
• To be on call for security and safety related incidents (after working hours)
• Process and SOP orientated

Your Merits :

• University Degree or Diploma in Security Management / Health and Safety (Preferably)
• Security Certification will be an added advantage.
• PC literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Good knowledge in security access systems and building management systems
• Able to use mobile apps efficiently and effectively.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill, able to demonstrate diplomacy in dealings with different stakeholders internally and externally.
• Good time management skill, able to multi task and prioritize workload accordingly.
• Good presentation skills & report writing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must have no criminal records or have pending unlawful charges.
• Must abide by the rule of law and company policies at all times.
